Our Story
Jason and Kameron Shadrick moved to Indonesia in early 2018 when Jason took a business consultant position with an international company. While consulting, we began to notice some dangerous business patterns among both Indonesians and Western/Foreign Entrepreneurs. They would work hard to start a company, but then fail.
The cycle is common – Without business experience, training, or mentorship, many entrepreneurs start a business without a clear plan, strategy or the business tools needed for success. This usually results in serious challenges, frustration and burnout, and why more than 50% of businesses fail within the first 3 years.
We are also passionate about helping individuals in developing countries acquire the business training, technical skills, and small business loans needed to escape poverty and positively transform their communities.
Understanding these struggles and wanting to help people break the cycle of business burnout, failure, and poverty, we created the Maju Entrepreneurial Program and Services, and established Maju Global Inc., a U.S. 501c3. Profits from our programs and services are used to support international programs providing business training, skill development and micro-small business loans to purpose-driven entrepreneurs facing the greatest challenges.
Jason Shadrick
Director / Business Coach
My career started in San Diego as an Art Director, and eventually took me to Idaho where I served as VP of Marketing for a large brand. After several years I started my own design agency, then in 2018 I moved to Indonesia to work with a consulting company. I have focused primarily on marketing, branding and corporate identity, serving many large and well-known international clients.
I enjoy living in Bali, Indonesia with my family, and I am proud to work with an amazing international team in helping people gain financial independence, empowerment and purpose through the avenue of business.
Kameron Shadrick
Program Developer / Life & Business Coach
Throughout my career I have served as an formal educator, curriculum developer and childbirth educator, in addition to starting and managing several successful personal businesses.
I’ve been involved in humanitarian work for over 20 years, through youth and female mentoring programs, and also in creating an international maternal & infant healthcare program and founding a U.S. NGO serving vulnerable women and infants in Africa.
In addition to entrepreneurship education and small business and life coaching, my overarching passion is helping people discover their life purpose or calling, while realizing work/life balance. Within the field of entrepreneurship, we call this “Purpose Driven Business.” It’s a blessing and joy when people start businesses that not only support their families, but also transform communities!
